How it all started...
In 1720 a great influx of Mennonites moved to the area and formed a gathering of believers that came to know as East Petersburg Mennonite Church. This gathering of believers ahs continued to worship on the same plot of land for over 300 years now!
Expanding the vision...
In the ever changing climate of Christianity that ebbs and flows in America, we are confident that the Lord will continue to unite us together in love, help us to walk in boldness and serve those in need.
There is a rich history of serving others and loving one another here at East Petersburg Mennonite Church and we only hope to build on that history. When people gather, it is not about how good the sermon was, or how moving the worship, its about did we love the Lord and did we love each other the way the Bible calls us to love. Our vision is that everyone who comes to EPMC encounters God and feels welcome as we journey together with Jesus.

Where we are headed...
Over the last years we have been seeing an influx of people hear the Gospel, repent of their wicked ways and turn to the loving Lord, get baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. We believe the Lord will continue to work through us here at EPMC as we are faithful to Him and His calling for us as a faith community.
We know the powers of darkness are at work in this percent age and so we are aware of the need for deliverance over individuals who are possessed by demons, the taring down of strongholds in the heavenly places and the renew of souls through the Gospel. All thing are done for the Lord and through the power of the Spirit as we seek to serve God.
Above all though, we seek to live and love like Jesus for if we have not love we have nothing.
